Current Position: I run a small seaside hotel

Education and Qualifications:

I attended a private (very exclusive) School for Girls in Bristol where I gained qualifications in English, History and Cookery. I then went to a finishing school but it was bombed so I then went to work in my parent's hotel in Bournemouth, England. Whilst there, I gained certificates in talking on the phone, delegating tasks to staff whilst doing as little as possible oneself, and other essential skills.

Employment History:

After I left school I went to work in my parent's hotel helping out at reception and in the bar where I gained valuable experience in the general running of a hotel. Then I met my future husband, Basil. We set up Fawlty Towers after he was bequeathed some savings by his father who became rich by selling secrets to the Germans during the war. Basil has been consumed with quilt ever since and now hates Germans. I've been running a hotel ever since.

Hobbies and Interests:

Golf, golf, golf. Oh, and reading, especially Harold Robbins. I also enjoy travel but me and Basil can't manage it much (travel that is) what with running a busy hotel. We manage it once or twice a year, pretty average really.
