Basil goes to pieces!
Poor Basil! The strain of running a top hotel on the English Riviera has final caused him to break down completely.
See the instructions in the right-hand column — some things may not be what they seem! It's nowhere near as easy as you might think, nothing ever was in the world of Basil Fawlty. Try clicking "Solve" and having a good long look then click "Breakup" to start over again.
Solved it?
Check back some time, I may add some new pictures to solve.

Jigsaw puzzle applet by http://svwhite.com/games/
Thanks to Steve White for a great free applet.
No Jigsaw?
You should see a broken up jigsaw to the left. The jigsaw applet requires a Java 1.1 enabled browser.
How to Play
The jigsaw will start with the picture broken up into pieces. If the mouse is moved over a piece, a highlight should be seen. It is then possible to move the piece by pressing the left mouse button and holding it down whilst "dragging" the selected piece.
Caution! Not all of the pieces may be sitting the correct way — some may need to be rotated or even flipped horizontally or vertically to fit! Use the right mouse button to flip them around.
The "Breakup" button does exactly that and breaks up the puzzle. The "Solve" button can be used to solve the puzzle.
When the puzzle is correctly solved, a message will appear on the top line. If this does not appear and the puzzle "seems" to be solved, it is usually because one or more pieces is in the wrong place or needs to be flipped around.
Each time the jigsaw applet is started (not when you use the breakup button) the jigsaw will be cut up randomly. This means that the pieces may be cut differently each time.
